Buyacandle.com is designed by category and subcategory.  This means, for example, that if you are looking for a novelty candle (a candle in the shape of something specific), you should begin in the novelty category, and then follow sub-categories from there.  In other words, if you are looking for a candle in the shape of a Pekinese dog, you would begin in "Novelty Candles", then to Cats & Dogs, and finally to Pekinese.

How does the order process work?

1. When you see an item you want to buy, enter the quantity of that item you wish to purchase in that item's quantity number box.  Repeat this for any other items you may want to purchase on the current page.

How can I give someone gifts using Buyacandle.com?

Certainly!  Here's how with two possible scenarios.

First scenario:

All the gifts are going to the same location.
You only need to complete one order, simply checking the gift wrapping option for each item you wished gift wrapped.  Be sure to supply the correct shipping address!   We'll even include a hand written card!!

Second scenario:

Several gifts going to several locations.
We apologize, but currently each shipping location must be handled as an individual order.   This means you will need to enter each shipping location as a separate order.
HOWEVER... for example, if you discover that you would like to send 10 jar candles to ten different locations (or 5 Large Dolphins, or however many of anything) (Hey!  Maybe you have lots of nieces and nephews!!), then for your own sanity, simply send us an email with the shipping information for each.  DO NOT INCLUDE ANY BILLING INFORMATION IN YOUR EMAIL.   ONLY THE SHIPPING INFORMATION FOR EACH ITEM.

Does Buyacandle.com charge sales tax?

State law requires Florida destined orders to pay sales tax.  This means that all orders shipped within the state of Florida must pay 6% sales tax.

Can people outside of the U.S. shop at Buyacandle.com?

Buyacandle.com currently ships to all fifty of the United States only.  Additional destinations are scheduled at some time in the future.

What are the shipping options?

Packages are shipped predominantly by UPS.   Instances governed by package weight, size, delivery time required, and time of year may require other carriers as well.

Packages are shipped by standard ground, unless otherwise indicated by the customer.  At times, however, due to situations beyond the control of Buyacandle.com, packages may be shipped in a premium or express manner.  The customer will not be charged any additional fees for this service.

We realize that candles make wonderful gifts for those can't-miss gift giving times such as holidays and birthday.  When completing the Checkout screen (Customer Information) please be sure to note the level of shipping you desire.  We ship our merchandise at five different levels.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Shipping amounts listed in the shipping method selection screen are maximum amounts.  Buyacandle.com will make every attempt to ship your purchases as efficiently as possible without sacrificing quality.  We want your order to arrive perfectly, quickly, and economically!  So, don't be surprised when your shipping is actually less!  ALSO, at times, if we feel we have not gotten an order out in a timely manner, shipping costs will be waived or reduced.  This is all about making YOU HAPPY!  And our way of saying thank you for your business.

1. Economy:  This method, provided the climate is to our liking, is by far the most inexpensive method for getting our wonderful candles to your door.   This is perfect when time is not of the essence, and you wish to save the most possible in shipping costs.

2. Standard: This method, provided the climate is to our liking, is by far the most popular.  This is considered "standard" by such carriers as the UPS, USPS, and RPS.  Again, this is the way to go when shipping cost is also a concern, but some predictability is required.

3. Express: This method, is often used when time is more of the essence, great for those unexpected events in life that occur where you still have some time to react.  This would be considered similar to UPS Three Day Select and Second Day Air in some instances.  When shipping cost is less of a concern and predictability a must.

4. Ultra Express: This method is usually used for the times in life when you need it as soon as you possibly can... An "I needed it yesterday order"  These orders are generally shipped UPS Next Day Air. When shipping cost is of little concern and getting the product as fast as possible is most important.

5. Ultra Express Saturday Delivery: This method is the same as Ultra Express, only with carrier assigned additional fees for weekend delivery.  Use this only in extreme circumstances.
